Appointments

How do I get started?

The first step is to request an appointment through the website. This is a request form—not instant online booking—and the office will personally follow up to guide you through the next steps.

Do I have to become a member right away?

No. You can begin with the visit type that feels most appropriate for your needs. Membership can be thoughtfully discussed during your visit if it feels like the right next step.

Can returning patients use the appointment page too?

Yes. Both new and returning patients may use the appointment request page.

What if I'm not sure which appointment type I need?

That’s completely okay. You can submit a request, and the office will help guide you toward the most appropriate and thoughtful starting point for your care.

Membership & Pricing

What is the Hormone Harmony Membership?

The membership is the ongoing care model of the practice. It is designed for women who want a higher level of continuity, direct physician access, and a more personalized, relationship-based approach to care.

Can I sign up for the membership via the website?

No. Membership is not purchased through a simple online checkout. It begins through the appointment process and is thoughtfully discussed during your visit.

What is included in the membership?

Membership is thoughtfully designed to include:

Comprehensive primary care with a midlife focus

Ongoing hormone evaluation and management, when appropriate

Preventive care and coordination

Follow-up visits

Direct messaging access

• Priority scheduling

Timely support for acute needs when appropriate

Early access to wellness and community offerings

Specific inclusions are reviewed with you as part of your care plan.

Is membership always available?

Not necessarily. To preserve access and continuity for our members, new membership may be limited based on physician capacity.

Is there a one-time fee to join the membership?

Yes. There is a one-time onboarding and care design fee.

Where can I see pricing?

You can find current consultation, membership, and add-on pricing on the Membership & Pricing page.

Insurance & Payment

Does Hormone Harmony OC take insurance?

Hormone Harmony OC operates as a direct-pay practice, allowing care to remain focused on you rather than insurance-driven limitations.

Can I still use insurance for anything?

Depending on your plan, PPO insurance may still be used for outside services such as labs, imaging, and prescription coverage.

Can I use FSA or HSA funds?

In many cases, eligible healthcare spending funds may be used where applicable. Patients are encouraged to confirm eligibility with their plan administrator.

Why is this practice direct-pay?

This model allows for more time, deeper relationships, and a level of access and continuity that is difficult to achieve within traditional insurance-based systems.

Is this only for hormones or menopause?

No. Hormone Harmony OC provides comprehensive women’s primary care. Hormones are one part of a broader, whole-person approach.

What kids of concerns can be addressed here?

Care is personalized and may include:

Perimenopause and menopause

Hormone therapy, when appropriate

Can I still come here if I don't live in Huntington Beach?

Absolutely. Hormone Harmony OC is based in Huntington Beach and serves women in coastal Orange County and surrounding areas with both in-person office visits and telemedicine options

Hormone Therapy

Do I need hormone therapy to become a patient?

No. Not every patient needs hormone therapy, and not every care plan will include it.

How do I know if hormone therapy is right for me?

That depends on your symptoms, health history, goals, labs, and overall clinical picture. Recommendations are highly individualized and made in partnership with you.

Is hormone therapy the only thing this practice offers?

No. Hormone therapy is one part of a broader, comprehensive primary care model.

What if I want a more focused hormone visit?

There is a focused hormone consultation option for women who want to address hormone-related concerns in a more targeted way.

Communication & Access

Will I be able to contact the office between visits?

Yes. Membership patients have direct messaging access through the practice, with thoughtful responses provided within the stated response timeframe.

Is messaging meant for urgent or emergency concerns?

No. Messaging is not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Can I call the office instead of submitting a form?

Does Hormone Harmony OC offer virtual visits?

Yes. Telehealth is available when clinically appropriate and aligned with your care plan.

Will every appointment be virtual?

No. Some visits are best conducted in person, while others may be appropriately handled virtually.

What kinds of visits can be done by telehealth?

This may include certain follow-ups, lab reviews, symptom reassessment, and treatment discussions.

Yes. New patients are typically asked to complete intake forms and related documents prior to their appointment.

Where can I find the forms?

You can find forms and documents on the Patient Forms & Resources page.
